Frequently Asked Questions

  • The conference runs January 28-30, 2027 at Viewline Resort Snowmass in Snowmass Village, Colorado, near Aspen. Programming follows the same format used since 2020: morning CLE, mid-day skiing, evening CLE with appetizers.

  • Healthcare attorneys from boutique health-law firms, BigLaw health practices, in-house departments at health systems and digital health companies, and government attorneys. Historically the conference has hosted between 60 and 120 attendees, by design small enough to keep conversation candid.

  • For 2027, CLE credit is pending in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. CLE sign-in sheets will be available at the program. Reciprocity may apply for additional states; consult your state bar.

  • Historically the program has provided approximately 8 to 10 hours of CLE credit across the three-day format, including ethics where state rules permit. Final 2027 hour totals will be confirmed when accreditation clears in each state.

  • Early bird registration through September 1, 2026: $700 for private practice, $475 for in-house counsel, $375 for government attorneys. Additional Friday or Saturday night dinner guest tickets are $125. Standard pricing applies after the early bird deadline.

  • The conference uses Viewline Resort Snowmass as the host hotel. The group rate for 2027 is $582 per night, bookable through the dedicated passkey link. Reservation deadlines and cancellation rules are governed by Viewline.

  • No. Programming runs in the morning and evening. The mid-day window is open for skiing, snowshoeing, Nordic trails, shopping, the spa, or simply working from the lodge. Past attendees have included non-skiing partners and family members.

  • Yes. Family members are welcome to stay in the host hotel and to join evening receptions and dinners. Additional dinner tickets for non-registered guests are available at $125 each. Lift tickets and lodging are arranged separately.

  • Cancellations 60 or more days before the conference (on or before November 29, 2026) receive a full refund of registration fees. After that, no refunds are issued, but a registered attendee may substitute another attendee with at least five business days notice. Hotel cancellation is governed by Viewline.

  • The conference is governed by a volunteer board of practicing healthcare attorneys: Stefan Chacón, Adrienne Dresevic, Shana Logue, Clinton Mikel, and Matt Fisher. The founding board (2020) added David Douglass and David Johnson. There is no conference management company.
